Who can use grill-me

You must be at least 18 years old. We ask you to confirm your age before your first Grilling, and we delete accounts that belong to anyone under 18.

Without an account (as a Guest), you can start one Grilling and see its first question. To answer it, you sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your Google account secure.

What grill-me is, and what it isn’t

grill-me is a thinking tool. An AI asks you questions about a decision or situation you bring, then writes a summary called a Shared Understanding.

grill-me does not give medical, mental-health, legal, financial or other professional advice. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, and the decisions you make are your own.

If you tell us about a crisis, such as thoughts of self-harm, abuse or a medical emergency, we stop the Grilling and show you where to get help. We do not contact emergency services on your behalf.

Your content

Your questions, answers and Shared Understandings belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to run the service for you, including sending them to the AI model provider that generates the questions.

Don’t use grill-me to break the law, to harass or harm anyone, or to try to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

Feedback and Public Grillings

If you send Feedback on a Grilling, you allow the grill-me team to read that entire Grilling so they can improve the service. Without Feedback, the team sees only aggregate statistics.

If you make a Grilling public, you allow anyone to read it in full, and you allow us to show a short summary of it (a Digest) on our home page and in the Public channel. Your name, email and photo are never shown with it. Only publish what you are comfortable with strangers reading, and nothing that identifies or harms other people. We may hide any Public Grilling. You can make it private again at any time.

Free Quota and Subscription

Without a Subscription, you can have one full Grilling each calendar month (UTC). A Grilling counts once you answer its first Round. Grillings that end because we stopped for your safety never count.

A Subscription is billed monthly in advance through Stripe and lifts the monthly limit. You can cancel at any time from your account, and your access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled as required by law. [Refund policy — TBD]

We may change prices. We will tell you before a new price applies to your next billing period.

Deleting your account

You can delete any Grilling, or your whole account, at any time. Deleting your account deletes your Grillings (including any Public Grillings) and cancels your Subscription. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. [Limitation of liability, governing law and dispute resolution — TBD by counsel.]
